Kurious Kids Learning Center is a school for early childhood education which strives to educate children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development based on age, developmental level, special needs, and cultural background.

• Ratio – Kurious Kids provides a safe, away from home, atmosphere where your child can grow academically and socially, unlike corporate daycare centers. Our child to staff ratio meets or exceeds what is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics providing individualized care of your child and offers the lowest class sizes in the Lehigh Valley.

• Curriculum – The Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten curriculums were designed by a team of researchers in early childhood development and our owner, Jennifer Truckly.  Jennifer is a teacher who has taught first grade, kindergarten, and special needs children in the Whitehall-Coplay School District for over 25 years. Our Pre-Kindergarten teacher and Director, Miss Anita, has taught at Kurious Kids for over 15 years.

 Both the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten curriculums meet the Pennsylvania Common Core Standards for Early Childhood Education. They will offer your child a strong academic foundation in reading, math, science, and social studies which is taught in a systematic progression to enable understanding and mastery.  Our curriculum will ensure that your child will be prepared for Kindergarten within the Whitehall-Coplay, Catasauqua, and Northampton school districts.

• Nutrition – Your child will receive breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.  Our meals follow the four food groups providing the nutrition your child needs to develop and grow!

• Safety – In today’s world, safety of our children is on every parent’s mind.  Safety was undoubtedly on the minds of Kurious Kids owners when it was constructed. Entrance to the facility can only be obtained by using a pin pad code which will be provided to you at enrollment. Security cameras capture every minute of every day within the classrooms. Our professional staff is trained in emergency first aid and all are CPR certified.  Rest assured that your child is safe and secure at Kurious Kids.
